1. Scope
This Policy applies to subscriptions and any other paid content for the KinPulse App purchased through the Apple App Store (via your Apple Account) or Google Play (via your Google Account). We never collect or store your card, bank or other payment details; we do not accept payments by bank transfer, on the website or by any other channel. If anyone asks you to pay for KinPulse outside the Stores, it is not us.
At the date of this version, paid plans have not yet been activated. Plan-selection screens in the App are demonstrations: no charge is made and no entitlement is created. This Policy becomes operational for a plan as soon as it is offered for purchase in a Store.
2. How billing works
When you buy a subscription, the Store shows the price, currency, taxes, billing period (for example weekly or monthly), any free trial or introductory price and the renewal terms before you confirm. The Store charges the payment method on file in your Apple or Google account at confirmation and again at the start of each renewal period. Receipts are issued by Apple or Google, not by us. Prices may differ between countries and currencies and may include VAT or other taxes applied by the Store.
A subscription unlocks the paid features of KinPulse for the Account that made the purchase for the duration of the paid period. Family Space members with their own Accounts are not automatically covered unless the plan description says so.
3. Free trials and introductory offers
If a plan includes a free trial or introductory price, the Store shows its duration and the price that applies afterwards. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or introductory period ends, the subscription converts automatically to the standard price shown. Trials are normally available once per Apple or Google account; the Store enforces eligibility. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where the Store applies that rule.
4. How to cancel
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period already paid for. Deleting the App or deleting your KinPulse Account does not cancel a Store subscription — you must cancel it in the Store.
- Apple (iPhone/iPad): Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → KinPulse → Cancel Subscription; or open apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
- Google Play (Android): Google Play app → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → KinPulse → Cancel subscription; or open play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
- If you no longer have the device, sign in to the same Apple or Google account on another device or in a browser and follow the same path.
5. Refunds for Store purchases
Because the Stores process the payment, refund requests for App Store purchases are decided and processed by Apple under its policies and the consumer law that applies to you; we cannot see your payment details or override Apple’s decision. For Google Play purchases, Google handles requests made within 48 hours; after that, we can issue a refund from our developer console where your statutory rights or this Policy entitle you to one.
- Apple: go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account, choose the KinPulse purchase and select “Request a refund”, or follow the instructions in Apple’s support article “Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple”. Apple reviews each request and informs you of its decision.
- Google Play: within 48 hours of a purchase you can request a refund directly at play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory or through the Google Play app. After 48 hours Google asks you to contact the developer; write to us at the address below with your order number (GPA.xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxx) and we will review your request within a few business days and issue the refund through Google Play where it is due.
6. Right of withdrawal for consumers in the EU and EEA
If you live in the European Union or the European Economic Area, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a subscription within 14 days of the purchase, or of the first charge after a free trial, without giving a reason (Directive 2011/83/EU, Articles 9 and 14; Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, Articles 102 to 108). Because Apple or Google are the seller of record for Store purchases, you exercise this right through the Store channels described above (Apple: “Report a Problem”; Google Play: order history), which apply these rules in their purchase flows. If you asked for the service to start during the 14-day period, a proportionate amount for the time already used may be deducted from the refund (Article 14(3) of the Directive; Article 108.3 of the Royal Legislative Decree). We will support your request with the Store if needed.
7. Legal guarantee of conformity
Consumers in the EU and Spain have a legal guarantee that digital content and digital services conform to the contract (Directive (EU) 2019/770; Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007). If a paid feature of KinPulse does not work as described during your subscription, contact us first: we will try to bring it into conformity within a reasonable time and at no cost to you. If we cannot, you are entitled to a proportionate price reduction or to terminate the contract for the affected period; because payment was made through the Store, any amount due is refunded through Apple or Google, and we will support your request with the Store. These rights are not affected by anything in this Policy.
8. Situations that do not qualify for a refund from us
Subject to the Store’s decision and to your statutory rights, we do not provide refunds, credits or compensation for:
- the unused portion of a billing period after you cancel, or forgetting to cancel before a renewal or the end of a free trial;
- changing your mind, no longer needing the App, or not using paid features you had access to;
- features that are clearly labelled as free, demo, beta or “coming soon”;
- problems caused by your device, operating system, network, Store account or by missing permissions, where the App itself conforms to its description;
- Accounts suspended or terminated for breach of the Terms of Use;
- purchases made by another person using your Apple or Google account — contact the Store immediately in such cases.
9. Unauthorised or duplicate charges
If you see a charge you do not recognise, check your Store purchase history first (Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com; Google: play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory). Family-sharing members may have purchased under a shared payment method. For a genuinely unauthorised charge, contact Apple or Google without delay and secure your Store account. Please do not initiate a chargeback with your bank before contacting the Store, as this may lead the Store to close your Store account and your access to purchased content.
10. Goodwill measures
Where a refund is not available through the Store, we may at our sole discretion offer a goodwill remedy, such as extending your subscription period. Offering a remedy in one case does not create a right to it in other cases.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy, for example when plans change or Store rules change. The version in force at the time of a purchase or renewal applies to that transaction. Material changes will be announced in the App or on the Website at least 15 days in advance.
12. Contact
Billing questions: [email protected]. Include your Store order number and the e-mail of your KinPulse Account. Never send card numbers or passwords by e-mail.
